VYPE spoke with Webb City’s Alex Martin to find out who he is on and off the court.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My goals are to get in the Gym as much as I can this summer and next year and earn my minutes on the team.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I had was at the OSU team camp with my team this year.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher would have to be Mr. Derryberry because he was just a really personable guy and always cool.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory would be playing in an AAU game when I was in 5th grade I played with my brother’s team which included him, Trae Young, Lindy Waters, Markus Dickinson, and some other guys.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Trey Roets because he injured his shoulder at the beginning of the season and was out the entire year but was at practice every single day and never left us.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part is how close we are. We are all super close and like a family. And I really love coach horn!
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
I would go to Hawaii and take my Brother and Girlfriend.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would invest it into one of my businesses.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I own 2 businesses and do some things for the community for free on my own.
