3. Seneca at Lamar (September 4 at Lamar)
    Defending Class 3 state champions Seneca travel to face a perennial Big 8 power and multi-time state title contender. One of the most anticipated early matchups in the conference.
4. Carthage vs. Joplin (September 25 at Carthage)
    Key COC rivalry game between two solid area programs with playoff aspirations. Local bragging rights and conference standings will be on the line.
5. Webb City vs. Carthage (October 2 at Webb City)
    Potential ranking and conference implications between two of the region’s better teams. Both squads typically feature strong offensive lines and physical defenses.
6. Joplin vs. Webb City (October 23 at Joplin / Junge Field)
    Classic nearby rivalry that consistently draws strong crowds and community attention. Always a hard-hitting, emotional contest for both fan bases.
7. Carthage at Republic (October 16 at Republic)
    Solid late-season COC matchup with potential ranking and playoff seeding implications. A must-win type of game for both sides as district races heat up.
8. Seneca at Nevada (September 25 at Nevada)
    Strong Big 8 Conference battle for the defending Class 3 state champions. Nevada always presents a tough challenge in front of a passionate home crowd.
9. Neosho vs. Joplin (October 9 at Neosho)
    Important COC contest featuring two programs with elevated expectations this season. Both teams return key playmakers and will be fighting for positioning in a stacked conference.
10. Carl Junction vs. Branson (September 25 at Carl Junction)
     Key Ozark Mountain Conference matchup as the Bulldogs look to build on last year’s progress. A good measuring-stick game for Carl Junction against a competitive Branson squad.
