Webb City Track – Team Spotlight – Presented by BDR CPA

The Webb City Cardinals boys and girls track teams enter the 2026 season with momentum, depth, and a shared belief that their strongest performances are still ahead. Under head coach Dustin Miller, both squads are building around returning talent while developing a new wave of contributors across multiple events.

“The boys are returning COC West co-champions from the 2025 season and look to have another successful season.”

On the boys side, Webb City brings back a balanced roster capable of scoring in key areas. Distance and throws stand out as major strengths, while younger athletes are beginning to make their mark in the sprints and jumps. Cooper White headlines the distance group after an impressive sophomore campaign that included a district and sectional title and a top-10 finish at state. His work ethic and steady improvement make him one of the top returning runners in Class 5.

Noah Lankard adds senior leadership after earning ninth-place finishes in both the 800 and 4×800 relay at state, while Louden Bolinger anchors the throws group. Bolinger’s conference title in the shot put and strong postseason finishes position him as a consistent point scorer. Emerging athletes like Sawyer Dalrymple and Andrew Dawson provide depth and potential across events.

“We should score heavily in the distance and throws, and we also have some solid young pieces in the jumps and sprints.”

The girls team mirrors that optimism, returning a young but experienced roster ready to take a step forward. After gaining valuable experience last season, the Cardinals are focused on building a championship-caliber lineup.

“The girls team is returning several varsity athletes from last season and looks forward to building a championship caliber team.”

Leading the way is Brooke Hedger, one of the most decorated athletes in program history. Already holding school records in the 800, 1600, 4×800 relay, and cross country 5K, she continues to expand her goals while setting the tone with her work ethic and humility.

“She is kind, hardworking and humble, and truly a blessing to have on the team.”

Araceli Perez, an all-state cross country runner, and Jocelyn Maxwell, a top returning thrower, add strength in key scoring areas. With contributions expected from athletes like Chasney Brown and Brooke Collard, the Cardinals are building depth to complement their stars as both teams chase another standout season.
