Last year’s Neosho Wildcats baseball team represented the culmination of exceptional talent and outstanding student-athletes, further exemplifying the winning culture that continues to grow in our program. Led by a strong upperclass group that set the tone with their work ethic and competitiveness, the Wildcats laid a foundation of accountability, toughness, and team-first mentality that carries directly into the 2026 season. As we turn the page, that legacy now belongs to a new core of leaders and emerging players ready to author the next chapter of Neosho baseball.
At the forefront is senior Brody Crane, who will be the headliner for the Wildcats’ staff in 2026. A four-year varsity starter and big-game performer, Brody gives Neosho a winning shot every time he takes the mound and will transition to first base when not pitching. Coming off a 2025 season with 75 strikeouts in 43.1 innings and a fastball that touched 97 mph, the Arkansas commit and Second Team Class 6 All-State selection returns as one of the most feared arms in the state, while also providing pop at the plate with 13 of his 22 hits going for extra bases. Senior Jaiden Fisher will help lead the infield and anchor the top of the order. After hitting .361 and earning Class 6 District 6 First Team honors in 2025, his bat-to-ball skills and natural feel for the game make him a key offensive catalyst.
Senior Cooper Charlton was really coming on last year before an injury cut his season short, and he is expected to be an important part of the pitching staff while competing for a role in the batting order. Junior Drake Jennings returns after a valuable sophomore campaign that saw him contribute in left field and as a designated hitter. His team-leading 27 walks and .467 on-base percentage in 2025 made him a steady presence in the middle of the lineup, and he will again be counted on to provide quality at-bats.
Complementing this core is an exciting group of newcomers to keep an eye on: Gage Harvel, Colton Harvel, Shayne Rabauliman, Wyatt Woodward, Aiden McCrory, Tevin Beaver, and Jack Goodell. Each brings unique tools, versatility, and competitiveness, creating healthy internal battles for innings and lineup spots while raising the standard daily in practice. With this blend of proven leadership and rising talent, Coach Kilgore and the Wildcats are poised for a season defined by growth, grit, and the pursuit of another historic year of Neosho baseball.
