As a senior at Neosho High School, Brody Crane has made his mark both on and off the field. A former multi-sport athlete, Crane once balanced football and baseball, but this year, his full focus is on the diamond, and it’s already paying off.

Primarily a right-handed pitcher, Crane also contributes on the field as a corner outfielder or first baseman when he’s not on the mound. His dedication to the game is clear in both his performance and mindset. “It’s taken a lot of work and dedication to keep going, even when I don’t want to,” he said. That discipline helped him earn one of his proudest accomplishments so far, winning a gold medal with Team USA.

Crane credits much of his growth to the strong support system around him. “My friends and family keep me going,” he shares. “My parents are my biggest role models, and outside of my family, my pitching coach Scott Elbert has quite literally changed my life and not just in baseball, but overall.”

In the classroom, Crane continues to excel. A member of the National Honor Society, he points to teacher Mr. Drouin as a major influence. “He pushes me to be better in the classroom and as a person. I’ll always be appreciative of that,” Crane said.

Looking ahead, Crane hopes to either enter the MLB Draft or attend the University of Arkansas to continue his baseball journey. Regardless of the path, he carries his school and hometown with pride. “It means the world to me. My community and school have been amazing and support me in everything I do. I try my hardest to represent them in the best way possible.”

With talent, work ethic, and heart, Brody Crane is ready for whatever comes next, and Neosho will be cheering him on every step of the way.
