Q&A with Webb City’s Cooper Forth – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Roderique Insurance

Webb City golfer Cooper Forth recently spoke to PREP SPORTS in an interview.

PREP SPORTS: What are your personal goals for the year?

My personal goals this year are to improve as a player day by day and try to get 1% better every week.

PREP SPORTS: What is your favorite athletic memory?

My favorite athletic memory is shooting 4 under at shoal creek during a hurricane tournament.

PREP SPORTS: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Braxton Cahoon he has just really helped me improve as a player over the years and just always been so kind, always asking to play together.

PREP SPORTS: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

My favorite part of being on this team is the guys. I absolutely love all the guys on this team and just hanging out with them on and off the course.

PREP SPORTS: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Golf has taught me in my daily life that there will be ups and downs but it’s just about to staying calm and fighting through it. Also sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.

PREP SPORTS: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

The best advice anyone has ever given to me is have fun. Sometimes you get so focused on the game that you just need to look at from a faraway and realize how much fun and dreams your accomplishing.

I would also like to thank my parents as they have done more t than I can imagine and also thank my friends for playing with me all the time even when the weather isn’t great.
