
East Newton athlete Braxton Wolfe spoke with Prep Sports in a recent interview.
PREP SPORTS: What are your personal goals for the year?
My goals for this year is to win a district championship and become a better leader.
PREP SPORTS: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
When I competed in FBLA state last year was my favorite memory in the last year.
PREP SPORTS: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
Mrs. Cambers is my favorite teacher because she pushes me to do my best all the time.
PREP SPORTS: What is your favorite athletic memory?
When we beat Mt. Vernon in double overtime in the District semifinals my freshman year.
PREP SPORTS: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Gabe Bergen is the teammate that made the biggest impression on me because he showed me how to become a better leader and he helped push me in practice and games.
PREP SPORTS: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
I like being on this team because we are tight-knit and we can go to each other for help on and off the court.
PREP SPORTS: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
My dream vacation for a summer would be going to Gulf Shores, Alabama and I would take my family, my grandparents and my close friends.
PREP SPORTS: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
If I was given $500 dollars to spend in 24 hours I would use it to buy new basketball shoes and a tuxedo for prom.
PREP SPORTS: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I help pack thanksgiving boxes with East Newton United and I help plan Gold Out and Pink Out at our school.
PREP SPORTS: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I’m in FBLA, FCCLA, and FTA and I’m in the because I wasn’t to be able to network with more people and become a better leader.
PREP SPORTS: Are you involved in academic excellence activities such as the National Honor Society, Student Council, or other academic clubs?
I’m also in Student Council and National Honors Society.
