Cardinal football player Nate Miller share in a recent interview that his personal goals are “to get an A in all of my dual credit classes and have a 3.9 GPA or better, and to win the State Track and Field Championships in the discus.”
Recently Miller enjoyed “golfing in Gatlinburg Tennessee and staying in the mountains of North Carolina.” When it came time start prepping for the 2023 football season Miller was anxious to return to the his favorite parts of the team. Saying “My favorite part of being on this team is the brotherhood that we have, especially on the O line. Going to practice and playing on Friday nights with these guys will always stick with me.”
When they are out on the field Miller shared that “the teammate that has left the biggest impression on me was Buddy Belcher.” Belcher graduated when Miller was just a sophomore but Miller told us that ” playing next to him helped me develop mental and physical skills that I really needed.”
Miller not only dominates the High School football field but he also “runs chains for our home JV and Freshman games throughout the season.” As well as assisting the “Jr high and youth track and field in the spring.”
