Carl Junction Basketball player Destiny Buerge was a standout player for the Lady Bulldogs during the 2022-23 season. Currently signed to play college basketball for Pittsburg State Buerge averaged 4.2 steals, 5.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 23.9 points per game.
Buerge received many honors this past season including Class 5 All-State, Co-COC Player of the Year, and Class 5 District 7 Player of the Year.
